  • Wednesday, May 8 – Orange County Neighborhood Center for Families (NCF) Community Day
    Schedule an appointment with a Goodwill Employment Specialist for a complimentary 30-minute résumé review session.
  • Wednesday, May 8 -Hiring Event at the Port Orange Goodwill

  • Thursday, May 9 – Simply IOA Corporate 5K Run
    Walk, run, or virtually participate as a Goodwill Industries of Central Florida teammate here.
  • Saturday, May 11 – Sustainable Saturday
    Have confidential information that shouldn’t just be trashed? The Shred-It truck will be onsite at the S. OBT Goodwill. Shred whatever documents you have with confidence!

For more than 60 years, local Goodwill organizations across the U.S. and Canada have celebrated Goodwill Week during the first full week of May (this year, May 5-11) to raise awareness of our mission of Building Lives That Work®.

When you donate or shop at Goodwill, you are helping us provide people with the training and support they need to find jobs, increase their job opportunities through skills training, and advance in their careers to achieve their goals in life.

Last year, your donations to Goodwill Industries of Central Florida helped us divert nearly 24 million pounds of textile and other non-compostable waste from landfills in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Volusia counties.
